Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has once again made history by setting a new Guinness World Record for cooking the world's largest pot of Nigerian jollof rice. The record-breaking attempt, which drew a massive crowd of over 20,000 food lovers, celebrities, and influencers, took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
Baci, known for her culinary prowess, carefully calculated the ingredients to preserve the authenticity of the jollof rice. She personally washed the massive red pot and ensured that the spices were accurately measured.
The event was attended by notable personalities, including Veekee James, Tomike Adeoye, and Enioluwa, who cheered Baci on as she cooked the massive pot of jollof rice. Funke Akindele also made a special appearance, energizing the crowd with her dance moves.
This latest feat cements Baci's reputation as a record-breaking innovator. In 2023, she set a Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, lasting 93 hours and 11 minutes.
The Guinness World Records showed their support for Baci's attempt, wishing her and her team "best of luck" on her Instagram post. With this new achievement, Baci has once again proven that her creativity and culinary skills know no bounds.
